Blockchain Visualization

Why Visualize Blockchain

The popularity of cryptocurrencies and blockchain shows a sign of increment these years with expanding products and users. However, compared to traditional network applications, blockchains are intangible and highly volatile. Hence, we need an efficient way of understanding on-chain activity and uncovering hidden relationships, anomalies, and trends from blockchain data [1].

Blockchain Visualization Tools & Libraries

Bitnodes shows the distribution of Bitcoin nodes geographically.

Ethviewer visualizes real-time transactions happening in the Ethereum blockchain.

The plotly Python library is an interactive, open-source plotting library that supports over 40 unique chart types covering a wide range of statistical, financial, geographic, scientific, and 3-dimensional use-cases.
